Fort Erie - Looking back -

The name is very appropriate. The whole Fort and area around the Fort had a very Erie feeling to it. I remember standing on the grounds thinking about all that went on around me during battle and I kept getting the feeling that there was still a fight going on. I knew that the track was going to be a good one before Kenta or Kate even went in. The most memorable moment for me during this particular episode, maybe one of the most memorable moments of the whole season actually, was Kate's experience near the end of her track. She was outside of one of the buildings and I didn't want to say anything at first, but I could
have sworn I saw a red orb flash across my monitor. Just after I saw that, Kate began to get really emotional saying that there was a really bad presence around her, something didn't feel right. Then she heard the scream and it escalated from there. I really feel that we encountered one of our first angry spirits that night and I have to hand it to Kate for being brave enough to face it head on and come out an excellent ghost tracker.

BERTIE HALL - Looking back -

Ahhh yes good old Bertie Hall. First and foremost the people of
Bertie Hall were great. While we were shooting the straw draw there was a good 40 people outside watching us film and getting autographs from me and the trackers. They were all really nice people and It made us all feel really welcome. But inside the house was a different feeling altogether. This house was creepy! Something about dolls and doll houses in that kind of setting really spooks me. If that wasn't scary enough, the basement added a whole other element of surprise to the track. The fact that it was a part of the underground railroad (if you don't know what that is, you should google it), made it all the more likely that there would be some unsettled spirit activity there. And there was. Cassie was incredibly intuitive picking up on exactly what had been reported in the past, and Izzi may have actually come face to face with a ghost around one of the doll houses. All in all, it was one of our favorite tracks this season.

THE OPERA HOUSE - Looking back -

Ghost Tracking can sometimes be all about confirming stories.
If we know for a fact something has happened in a certain place, like if someone died on a staircase or something, then any evidence we gather around that spot is extra important. This happened in the Opera House. Tracker John managed to get high reading around anything having to do with fire, such as the extinguishers or hose which was weird because there was a huge tragic fire that killed a lot of people. This is what good ghost tracking is all about. Both trackers did a great job in this
place. And Orillia has some great people!

CUSTOMS HOUSE - Looking back -

Hands down, in my opinion, the scariest place we've been to all season. Some places just give me the heebie jeebies and this place gave me tons of heebies and lots of jeebies. First up was Cassie, who always seems to have an amazing intuition when it comes to what went on in any given haunted location. She was true to form that night staying calm in some really scary situations and sensing exactly what had gone on in this place in the past. But it was Kenta who experienced the creepiest moment I can remember all season. In this building the trackers had to travel down two floors using an old elevator to access the basement. Scary enough, yes, but as Kenta passed by the first floor in the elevator, there was an extremely loud bang coming from the other side of the elevator doors as if someone was hitting it. We all heard it plain as day. Then it happened again as he passed the next floor. It was intense. Kenta kept cool though and finished his track. I'll never forget that though as long as I live.
